Best ways to use welcome sign SVG files
Wood signs are my all-time favorite Cricut projects to craft. You’ll find many free SVG files on this blog that you can download to make signs for your bathroom, living room, and kitchen.
One day I wanted to make a cute outdoor sign for my front porch and looked at creating either a round door sign or a vertical wood sign. I started designing vertical welcome sign SVG files, and before I knew it, I had made 10 of them!
I’ve included a simple welcome to our home vertical sign SVG and a version that you can customize with your family’s last name.
You’ll find botanical elements like leaves, flowers, and wreaths to add farmhouse charm to your home. You’ll also find free welcome signs with monograms for personalization.
These Cricut signs make for excellent home decor for displaying year-round and for Summer, Fall, and Christmas. The wood signs also make great gifts for Weddings, Housewarmings, and other special occasions.

Do you recommend using permanent vinyl? I have been using removable vinyl to make stencils and then painting. Permanent vinyl seems a lot easier! Thanks!
Hi Sara, when making a sign for outdoor use, I think it’s better to use permanent vinyl because it can withstand weather changes better and lasts longer. It’s less prep work when compared to using removable vinyl, plus you will have to make sure the paint will last outdoors. Using removable vinyl to make stencils and paint may be better suited for indoor signs 🙂
Thanks so much
You are welcome, Sylvia 🥰
