Today’s free designs are perfect for making beautiful farmhouse style vertical wood signs for your front porch. With 10 different welcome designs featuring wreaths, leaves, paw, sunflower, and more to choose from, the signs are sure to add a rustic charm to your home. Great to make gifts for your family and friends for Fall, Christmas, Weddings, Thanksgiving, and many more wonderful occasions.
I designed the signs to approximately fit wood signs of size 10 inches width by 48 inches height. All the letters and elements in the designs are ungrouped in the SVG files, so you can easily rearrange them to fit a sign that has different dimensions. Make sure to use permanent outdoor vinyl for the wood signs.
If you are planning to save this for later, make sure to pin the image below.

Download the SVG or DXF files included to use with your Cricut or Silhouette cutting machines. I hope you have a lot of fun using these designs in your craft projects 🙂

Some of the designs included in the download can be personalized to add your family name. I used an easily available font like the Times New Roman font to show you how the monograms can be personalized with your family’s last name. But you can use any font you like and customize it in your Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio.

You are so welcome, Myra! Designing and crafting have been such a blessing during this time. Thank you for your kind message 🥰
Do you recommend using permanent vinyl? I have been using removable vinyl to make stencils and then painting. Permanent vinyl seems a lot easier! Thanks!
Hi Sara, when making a sign for outdoor use, I think it’s better to use permanent vinyl because it can withstand weather changes better and lasts longer. It’s less prep work when compared to using removable vinyl, plus you will have to make sure the paint will last outdoors. Using removable vinyl to make stencils and paint may be better suited for indoor signs 🙂
Thanks so much
