Is your Christmas list getting longer every year? Mine is. Between family, friends, teachers and neighbors, store-bought gifts add up fast.
That’s why I make most of my gifts with my Cricut. A handmade mug or a personalized Santa sack costs a few dollars, and people actually keep them.

I rounded up 21 Cricut Christmas gift ideas for every person on your list: kids, parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, coworkers and even the family dog. Each one comes with the SVG file I’d use, so you can start cutting tonight.

How I Plan My Cricut Christmas Gifts
Making 20 gifts in December can get overwhelming. Here’s the simple plan I follow every year:
- Make a list by person, not by project. Write each name, then pick one idea that fits them. It keeps you from making 12 mugs for 12 very different people.
- Group projects by material. Cut all the iron-on gifts in one session and all the vinyl gifts in another, so you only change blades and mats once.
- Buy blanks in bulk. Mugs, tote bags, tea towels and coasters are much cheaper in packs, and you’ll use the extras next year.
- Leave a week for mistakes. A crooked decal or a misspelled name happens to all of us. Ordering one extra blank saves a last-minute panic.
Fonts for Personalized Christmas Gifts
Names are what turn a cute project into a gift someone keeps. For sacks, ornaments and Christmas Eve boxes, a bold script with tails looks the most festive.
I’ve tested dozens of them, and my favorites are in my lists of the best free Christmas fonts for Cricut and Christmas fonts for holiday designs.
21 Cricut Christmas Gift Ideas
Here are my favorite Cricut Christmas gift ideas, grouped loosely from quick paper gifts to personalized keepsakes.
1. Elf Gift Card Holder
Most Loved Cricut Christmas Gift Idea

Gift cards are easy, but they can feel a little impersonal. This elf gift card holder fixes that, and it’s the most loved design on this list, with a five-star rating.
It’s sized for most gift cards and comes with assembly instructions. Cut it from red, green and white cardstock, and make a stack for teachers, coworkers and the mail carrier.
2. Personalized Santa Sack
Best Gift for Kids

Kids go wild for a Santa sack with their own name on it. This North Pole Reindeer Mail design has a postmark, a reindeer and a big space for the name.
Press it with black iron-on vinyl on a canvas drawstring sack. Santa can fill it on Christmas Eve, and you can reuse it every year.
3. Hot Cocoa & Christmas Movies Mug
Best Mug Gift

“Hot cocoa and Christmas movies” sums up December in my house. The design fits nicely on an enamel camp mug or a regular coffee mug.
Cut it in permanent vinyl and tell the recipient to hand-wash it. Tuck in a packet of cocoa and a candy cane, and the gift is done.
4. Funny Christmas Wine Glasses
Best Gift for Friends

This bundle has 22 funny sayings like “Let’s get lit,” “Bottoms up” and “It’s 5:00 at the North Pole.” It’s the most saved design in this roundup after the gift card holder.
Use permanent vinyl on stemless glasses, and pick a saying that fits each friend. A set of four makes a great gift for a holiday party host.
5. Dear Santa Cookie Tray
My Free Santa Tray SVG

This one is my own design, and it’s free on the blog. The tray has a spot for Santa’s drink, his cookie and a carrot for Rudolph, with a little note at the bottom.
Since food sits on top, I’d paint it through a vinyl stencil and finish it with a food-safe sealer. It’s a sweet gift for a family with little kids, and they’ll use it every Christmas Eve.
6. Christmas Crew 2026 Family Shirts
Best Matching Family Shirts

Matching shirts make the best family photos, and this design already has 2026 built in, with a gingerbread man and a snowman tucked into the numbers.
It’s a full-color design, so I’d print it on printable iron-on or use sublimation on light polyester-blend tees. Hand out the shirts on Christmas Eve so everyone wears them in the morning.
7. Santa’s Problem & Santa’s Favorite Shirts
Best Gift for Couples

One person is Santa’s favorite, and the other is his problem. These two sayings are made to go together, and they’re perfect for couples, siblings or best friends.
White iron-on vinyl on a red and a green sweatshirt looks just like the mockup. Wrap them together so the joke lands when both are opened.
8. Baby’s First Christmas Bodysuit
Best Gift for New Parents

Is there a new baby in the family this year? This bundle has 12 “First Christmas 2026” designs, including ones for the baby, the new parents and the new grandparents.
Press the baby design on a soft bodysuit with thin iron-on vinyl, and use the matching designs on a mug or ornament for mom, dad or grandma.
9. Santa’s Favorite Grandma Sweatshirt
Best Gift for Grandma

Every grandma wants to hear she’s Santa’s favorite. This design pairs a script “Santa’s” with bold block letters and little Christmas trees.
White iron-on vinyl on a red sweatshirt gives the cozy look in the mockup. You can swap “Grandma” for Nana, Mimi or Gigi in Design Space.
10. Merry and Bright Throw Pillow
Best Home Decor Gift

A holiday pillow is a gift that comes out every December. This “Merry and Bright” script looks lovely on a cream lumbar pillow cover.
Take the insert out, press the iron-on vinyl onto the cover, and slip the insert back in. Red or rust HTV on a linen-look cover feels cozy without being too loud.
11. Baking Christmas Cheer Tea Towel
Best Gift for Bakers

Know someone who bakes dozens of cookies every December? This “Baking Christmas Cheer” towel is made for them.
Use iron-on vinyl on a flour sack towel, then roll it up with a set of cookie cutters and a wooden spoon. It’s an easy gift to make in a batch for neighbors.
12. Family Name Cutting Board
Best Personalized Gift

“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year” with the family’s last name underneath is a gift people hang in the kitchen for years. Little ornaments dangle between the words.
Use it as a vinyl decal on a decorative serving board, or cut a stencil and paint it. Keep vinyl and paint away from any surface that touches food, or have it laser engraved.
13. Christmas Coaster Set
Best Gift to Make in Bulk

This bundle has eight round designs, from Santa and a snowman to a little winter village. They fit square or round coasters perfectly.
Cut them in permanent vinyl for ceramic tile coasters, or use Infusible Ink on Cricut coaster blanks. Tie a set of four with ribbon, and you have a quick hostess gift.
14. Peppermint and Pretzel Earrings
Cutest Jewelry Gift

These layered earrings look like peppermint candies and pretzels, and the bundle has more holiday shapes too. They’re fun, lightweight and a little bit silly.
The file is set up for laser cutting, but the chunky shapes also cut from faux leather on a Cricut. Test one pair first, then glue the layers and add earring hooks.
15. Personalized Acrylic Keychains
My Free Keychain SVGs

Name keychains are my go-to stocking stuffer. I share 25 free keychain designs on the blog, with brush strokes, patterns and round templates.
Put permanent vinyl on round acrylic blanks, then add a tassel or a key ring. They take about ten minutes each, so you can make one for every cousin.
16. Reindeer Name Ornament
My Free Ornament SVG

My free reindeer names set has Rudolph, Dancer, Blitzen and the rest of the team in a playful script with little branches.
Put each name on a ball ornament with permanent vinyl. Give a set to a family and let everyone pick their reindeer.
17. Santa, Elf, Reindeer and Snowman Treat Boxes
Best Paper Craft Gift

These four smiley treat boxes look like an elf, a reindeer, Santa and a snowman. Each one has a little tag on the front.
Cut them from cardstock and fill them with candy, cookies or a small gift. They’re perfect for classmates, coworkers and party favors.
18. Christmas Eve Box
Best Family Tradition Gift

A Christmas Eve box holds new pajamas, a movie and some cocoa for the night before Christmas. This label says “Special Christmas Eve Box, delivery for” with a blank for the name.
It comes with and without a border, in color or black. Cut it in vinyl for a white gift box, or print the color version on sticker paper.
19. Teachers Always Make the Nice List
Best Teacher Gift

Teachers deserve a spot on the nice list, and this design says it with a bright gift box and a string of Christmas lights.
Layer it in vinyl on a tumbler, or press it with HTV on a canvas tote they can use all year. Add a gift card inside, and you’re done.
20. Santa Paws Dog Bandana
Best Gift for Pet Lovers

Don’t forget the dog! “Santa Paws” with a pup in a Santa hat is the cutest gift for any pet lover on your list.
Measure the dog’s neck before you buy a bandana, then press the design with iron-on vinyl near the point of the triangle.
21. Christmas Shopping Tote
Best Gift for Shoppers

This bundle has 28 funny Christmas shopping sayings, like “This tote is my shopping sleigh.” There’s one for every kind of holiday shopper.
Press one on a sturdy canvas tote with iron-on vinyl. It’s a useful gift, and you can wrap the rest of their presents inside it.
Cricut Christmas Gift FAQs
What are the easiest Cricut Christmas gifts for beginners?
Start with iron-on projects like tea towels and tote bags, or paper projects like gift card holders. They’re forgiving, quick to weed and don’t need special tools.
Can I make Christmas gifts with a Cricut Joy?
Yes. The Cricut Joy is great for mug decals, gift card holders, keychains and small ornaments. It cuts up to 4.5 inches wide, so larger shirt and pillow designs need a Joy Xtra, an Explore or a Maker.
Which Cricut gifts can I make in bulk?
Coasters, treat boxes, ornaments, keychains and gift card holders are the easiest to batch. Cut everything in one session, then assemble while you watch a Christmas movie.
Are vinyl mugs dishwasher safe?
Permanent vinyl lasts longest when the mug is washed by hand. If you want a dishwasher-safe mug, use Infusible Ink on a sublimation-ready mug with the Cricut Mug Press.
When should I start making Cricut Christmas gifts?
I start in early November. That leaves time to order blanks, fix mistakes and ship gifts to family who live far away.
