Glass can cups are everywhere right now, and I get why. Fill one with iced coffee, pop on a bamboo lid and a straw, and it looks like it came from a cute cafรฉ.
Add a vinyl wrap with your Cricut and it’s yours.

I rounded up 12 Cricut glass cup ideas, all full wraps for the 16 oz Libbey-style glass can. There are fruity summer cups, a few for pet lovers and moms, and some for Halloween and Christmas. Each one comes with the cut file.
Tip: Want to add a name under the wrap? Try a few names in our free Cricut Font Previewer first, so you can see which font fits the cup before you cut.
What You Need to Make Glass Cups with a Cricut
You only need a few supplies:
- Glass can cups: 16 oz Libbey-style cans are the most common size. Many come with a bamboo lid and a glass straw.
- Permanent vinyl: Cricut Premium Permanent Vinyl or Oracal 651. It holds up to washing much better than removable vinyl.
- Transfer tape: a clear, medium-tack tape makes it easier to line up the design.
- Weeding tool and scraper: for picking out the tiny pieces and smoothing out bubbles.
- Rubbing alcohol: wipe the glass first so the vinyl sticks well.
Want a frosted look? Cut the same files from frosted glass vinyl, or use them as a stencil with etching cream.
How to Put a Full Wrap on a Glass Can
Cut and weed the wrap, then cover it with transfer tape. Cut a few small slits along the top and bottom of the tape. They help it bend around the curve of the can without wrinkles.
Start in the middle of the cup and smooth outward to each side. Peel the tape off slowly, then let the vinyl set for 48 to 72 hours before the first wash. Hand washing keeps the wrap looking new the longest.

Cricut Glass Cup FAQs
Are vinyl glass cups dishwasher safe?
Not really. Permanent vinyl can peel in the dishwasher over time. Hand wash your cups, and they’ll last much longer.
What size are Libbey glass can wraps?
Most of these files are sized for the 16 oz glass can. If you have a 20 oz can, check the listing, because some files include both sizes.
How do I stop the vinyl from wrinkling on the glass?
Cut small slits into the transfer tape along the top and bottom edges, and smooth from the middle outward. The slits let the tape follow the curve of the can.
Can I use sublimation instead of vinyl?
Yes, if you use sublimation glass blanks and a sublimation printer. Most of these files come as a PNG too, so you can print them.
Can I sell glass cups made with these files?
Most Creative Fabrica files include a commercial license for physical products. Check the license on each file before you sell.
